KNOWN FOR:
I’m the owner of Hem Chill Seoul Street and Bo To Tay Ninh in Thao Dien. I’m married to the lovely Rob Rankin and we have two beautiful and slightly crazy sons (who probably take after their parents)!
I came to Ho Chi Minh City in 1998 after high school because I wanted to work in a big city and get some experience in F&B. I lived with my uncle and concentrated on my studies, housework, and working part-time as a waitress.
Over the course of 15 years I gained a lot of experience in hospitality and decided that I’d had enough of working for other people and it was time to create something for myself.
I now own and run four restaurants – Hem Chill, Bo To Tay Ninh, Big Pig, and Hong Kong Steam. We have had a lot of challenges over the last year but hope that we can survive this Covid season and carry on serving our amazing customers and supporting the community.
